Thank the good lord in heaven, and the evil Mark B. for not making us wonder anymore. I am sure that it won't be out tomorrow as so desired, but maybe we can hope for a co-release time with the CD? Or at the very least "Merry Christmas to Me?"

I am still trying to decide if I can wait or if I should just break down and buy from the guy on Ebay. I know I'd still buy the official version whenever it is released.

Yeah, saturday & sunday no mail up here. To make matters worse holiday on monday both in Canada (thanksgiving day) and U.S. (Columbus day) so thats 3 days wasted right there. Shipping to California is a crap shoot. It could get there on time, slightly earlier, or your stuck waiting a few extra days. No idea why that is out that way. Anyways, I hope your enjoying the DVD's.

I am surprised at no "Easy, Easy" on the DVD, either. It's like it never happened...Did we all imagine it in another universe?

I know! Easy Easy was one of my fave performances!!!

Of course, it goes without saying that an "official" DVD of all J.D. all the time, with the others edited it out, would have been my preference. Buuuuuuuuttt, at least the other performances were some of my non-JD favorites (i.e. Jordis "Man Who Sold the World"). Couldn't resist the temptation, so I bought the DVD today...but it won't be sent until released 11/29. Until then...time to re-watch the "Pretty Vegas" vid for the umpteenth time.

Hi! I just joined as a new member to this board. Loved Rockstar: INXS and thought JD was absolutely the right fit for the band.

I just pre-ordered both the Switch CD and the Rockstar: INXS DVD from Amazon.com. The CD is selling there for $13.99 (release date 11/29) and the DVD is selling for $10.49 (release date 12/6). Unfortunately, the DVD looks like it only includes selected performances and not the entire season. Too bad!

OH MY GOD!!! Is it the 'new' INXS singing the final songs!!!!! I really do think I might pass out if J.D sings Need You Tonight!!!! I really might!!

Don't know about the Amazon page for the DVD, but Sony Music Store has it available for pre-order, and it includes a RS:INXS poster. (INXS.com now has a link for the DVD to the SMS.) I just pre-ordered Switch and the DVD through SMS (even paid $5.98 extra for 2nd day UPS shipping). Right now if you add the coupon code (INXS), you will receive another $2 off your order total.

I'm confused. There are 2 dates for a DVD release - The Rockstar:INXS one on the Sony site on 11/29, and then the other DVD mentioned on the tvondvd site on 12/6. Are they both the same?

Have I been bamboozled into beliving that MB will actually release the full series? From what I've read, no one knows, but I had to ask anyway.

This is really too bad. I had been looking forward to a FULL SEASON release with even more behind-the-scenes extras. I've even been recommending the upcoming DVD to people who hadn't watched it on tv. Now, those who do pick it up will wonder why I was so enthusiastic about it.

I just put my pre-order in! I can't miss out on naked asscake! I also went ahead and ordered The Best Of INXS and INXS Greatest Hits. Now I can't freaking wait for my mailman to bring these to my door! Christmas comes EARLY this year!!

Springs, thank you for this! I had heard about a DVD set off and on but never saw who or where to get it from. I have the whole season on video already except the 2nd perfomance show (Hand in my Pocket) but would love to have everything. Some of the episodes were not the best reception either so are a bit grainy. Either that, or I've watched them too many times already and am wearing them out!

Of course, I'll still buy this DVD for the behind the scenes stuff and the mini concert at the end. Never have enough JD/INXS!

I went to our local record store to pre order Switch and the DVD which were to be released the same day on Nov. 29. By the time I had driven home the manager had called to tell me that he found out that the DVD was being delayed a week and wanted to let me know it wouldn't be released until December 6th. He said he did not know a reason.

As an FYI.... I too wanted the entire season so I did order from Marco on eBay and the set is wonderful. If you need his email please PM me and I will gladly pass the information along to you. Someone needs to stop me..... I've already watched the entire series over twice and gone back to my favorite episodes many more times. Gotta love episode 16 and 25!!!!!!

I got my Rockstar DVD over the weekend. Really there wasn't too much there that you can't get from the recorded season. Except a wonderful, glorious, brief 50 seconds with JD, his birthday cake and his birthday suit. I am really pathetic, cause I think that made my 15 dollar contribution to Mr. Burnett well worth it!
